Lions club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Their volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing unmet health and education needs worldwide.
Why should I become a Lion?
As a Lions club member, you can:
- Make a difference everyday in your community. Whether it is providing support locally or reaching out internationally, you will have an opportunity to serve.
Welcome our Newest lions
I will need to update this section,regularly for we are really having a great interest in our club, in 2009 we added a few new members and we just inducted our newest member in Jan 2010, Norma Brown was sponsored by Lion Rod Wallace.
Our Latest members, Sponsored by lion Ray Sr. Normandin are his son Ray Jr. and his wife Christina, Christina has already volunteers to chair the pancake breakfast committee and organized a few.
Our goal as set by lion President Tom Brown is to add at least ten new members by the end of his term (That's 2 years, Tom!).
Please invite your friends, co-workers and family members to join our club, it is never too late for them, if you like it they will like too
On a similar note, our club is a member of the Anaheim Chamber of commerce, which make every member entitled to attend the Chamber events, this is a great opportunity to meet new potential members. If you can attend the mixers or the Breakfast business sessions let us know.
