Anaheim Lions Services
We are collecting and recycling Glasses
and
hearing aids.
Lions are famous for their work to
eradicate curable blindness with projects such as
Sight First that raised over 200
million dollars in the late 90's, and again this year with project
Sight first 2 trying to help 27
million blind around the world.
Our Main Fund raiser is the Yearly Easter Baseball Tournament:
This Year in 2008, 46 High schools sent their baseball teams to Anaheim to
compete in one of the most prestigious state wide high school
tournament, Teams as far as San Francisco and Sacramento came to town on
Easter break.
Our Pancake Breakfast
events are well known as well,
for a small fee the members volunteer their time to cook pancakes and Sausages to a
variety of charitable events around the county.
It may not seem much but with our limited resources and the declining
interest in service club activities we are proud to donate to these and
other organizations, You can help by donating your time and by joining
us.
We work year round to help raise funds to support a variety of groups
and needy people in our community.
